All started with man-powered hardware.
Expansive. Unversatile. Unergonomic.
Electric hardware could only be used to play louder and make more
noises. We played louder. We made more noises.
Then electronic hardware. Built by professional manufacturers /sold
by professional retailers /used by professional musicians for professional
record labels. Same crap again.
01980's. Machine came. ATARI /AMIGA. 01990's PC /Mac. Machine took
music out of the hands of professionals. By force. Machine = normal
people freely expressing their deepest feelings through music. Machine
= make the records, make the packages, promote the stuff, all at
home. Machine brought the power back in the hands of the artists.
Machine freed us.
"Home Computer" = intended as new slavery /new support for ads.
Slave traders never should have shown their weapons. Crackers and
slaves took the weapons and learned how to use them. But not the
way slave traders had shown them.
